Lead reliability improvements for CNC machining centers to enhance equipment availability, OEE, and process capability. Utilize structured reliability methods (TPM, RCCA, PFMEA, predictive maintenance) to eliminate chronic losses and stabilize throughput. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to embed a reliability-focused culture and standard work.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Black Belt certification (preferred) with a focus on machining centers maintenance operations, reliability data analytics (Statistical Data Analysis / Llumin maintenance data / Power BI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.Experience in manufacturing operations, RCCA on maintenance repairs.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards.Improve machine availability & OEE through loss analysis & corrective actions.Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.Manage critical spares and obsolescence strategy.Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent fixes.Additional Responsibilities:
Deploy TPM and operator care on constraint machining centers.Influence reliability in new equipment design and commissioning.Implement predictive maintenance (vibration, lubrication, thermal monitoring) initiative.Coach operators and technicians on defect tagging and basic care.Why Caterpillar?
