Position Summary

The Electronic Technician performs hands‑on assembly, testing, calibration, diagnostics, and repair of Corsa’s electronic products. This role requires strong soldering skills, including through‑hole and surface‑mount (SMD), attention to detail, and proficiency with electronic test equipment. This role focuses entirely on production, quality, engineering support, and hardware reliability.

Key Responsibilities Electronics Assembly & Testing
  • Assemble and test electronic and electro‑mechanical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Perform calibration, circuit testing, and prototype evaluation.
  • Perform through‑hole and SMD soldering, including fine‑pitch components, connectors, headers, ICs, resistors, and capacitors.
  • Build and repair cables, wiring harnesses, and enclosure assemblies.
  • Diagnose malfunctions, isolate root causes, and execute necessary rework or repairs.
  • Conduct calibration, circuit testing, prototype evaluation, and board‑level functional testing.
  • Execute engineering test procedures and assist in data collection for product development or research.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Corsa products and related automotive/motor sport technologies.
Client Support & Troubleshooting
  • Respond to inquiries from end‑users, dealers, and distributors regarding product features, pricing, operation, and common issues.
  • Provide timely troubleshooting and technical guidance via phone and email.
  • Learn customer applications and assist in verifying that their systems function as expected.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure successful resolution and a positive support experience.
  • Assist in determining long‑term solutions to recurring technical issues.
Engineering Support & Workflow Improvement
  • Assist in prototype builds, engineering experiments, and specialized test setups.
  • Provide clear documentation of test results, build notes, and repair logs.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine assembly methods, test flows, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized, ESD‑safe workstations and follow all lab safety and quality procedures.
Growth & Special Projects
  • Participate in engineering‑led projects, prototype development, and hardware validation initiatives.
  • Help shape process standards, build workflows, and overall technical culture as the company continues to expand.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience assembling, testing, repairing, or troubleshooting electronic or electro‑mechanical systems.
  • Strong soldering skills: through‑hole and surface‑mount (SMD), including rework.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply, logic analyzer preferred).
