• The main function of a manufacturing engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production. A typical manufacturing engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.

• Support New Capital Introduction (NCI) activities.
• Support daily continuous improvement activities.
• Design new tooling to resolve assembly processes challenges.
• Review/Update/Develop Assembly documentations. Such as standard work, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA etc.
• Work on Continuous Improvement (CI) cards
• Design tooling associated with CI cards
• Update assembly documentations (SW, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA)
• Procure parts through Nex Gen for assembly line – basic training will be provided.
• Follow up with Tool shop, Central shop and Facility engineering on jobs issued through system (LLumin, B‑Zone etc.) – basic training will be provided.
• Write tool order (RFE and SWO) to facility engineering – basic training will be provided.

• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5-7 years of Manufacturing experience

• Microsoft O365

The pay range for this role is:

85,000 - 95,000 USD per year (Lafayette, IN)
