Indiana University Health Medical Group has an employment opportunity for a full‑time Psychiatrist at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. The role will help build full‑service behavioral health services for an under‑served regional patient population.

• Provides quality Outpatient Psychiatric services, coordinates care for the behavioral health service line, offers future clinical oversight for NPs, and collaborates with other Behavioral Health team members. Potential to create/structure IOP/PHP services as the department grows.
• Performs psychiatric evaluations and medication management for a patient population predominantly with PTSD, MDD, GAD, ADHD, BPAD, ASD, and some psychosis – comorbid but not primary addiction services.
• Provides diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation and management, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, and overall care of patients with psychiatric disorders.
• Collaborates with other providers and services within the system to coordinate care.
• This position is supported by MA and RN to allow you to provide the best possible clinical care.

• Residency training in Psychiatry.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
• One to two years of experience, preferred.
