Logistics Analyst

Swoon is hiring for our Global Fortune 500 Manufacturing Client in Lafayette, IN and this will be a 100% onsite position.

This is a 18-month contract opportunity to start with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).

This role supports Engineering teams in procuring parts from suppliers and coordinating shipments globally for NPI, field follow, and part update projects. The Logistics Analyst ensures production and engineering schedules are supported through effective shipment tracking, supplier follow-up, and inventory coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and expediting the flow of materials according to production schedules
• Reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules
• Monitoring supplier shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Updating purchase order schedules in Lognet
• Tracking and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Posting receipts and documenting updates in the Prove Design system
• Collaborating across departments to locate and resolve missing parts

• Follow up with suppliers via email and phone to confirm shipment timing
• Track incoming shipments and ensure compliance with shipping requirements
• Update supplier schedules and shipping methods
• Modify PO schedules within Lognet
• Partner with Receiving, Warehouse, and Prove Design Crib to resolve discrepancies
• Post receipts and maintain accurate inventory data
• Utilize Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and Prove Design system daily
• Document detailed and concise updates within internal systems
