Shift Hours- 1st shift 6:30am – 3:00pm
As a Tool & Die Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping stamping operations running safely and efficiently. This hands‑on position is responsible for in‑house die repair and maintenance, coordinating outsourced die work, and supporting production with timely troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
If you have strong die troubleshooting skills, machining expertise, and enjoy solving complex tooling challenges, this is an opportunity to contribute directly to plant performance and reliability.

How You’ll Create Possibilities- Perform daily tool room activities in support of production needs
- Repair and maintain stamping dies using surface grinders, manual mills, lathes, machining centers, and Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex dies; document findings using PM (Preventative Maintenance) check sheets
- Diagnose die issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Evaluate die condition and recommend improvements to Tool Room leadership or Tooling Engineering
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures to extend die life and optimize performance
- Polish draw dies to reduce friction and improve part quality
- Support production, engineering, and Tool Room leadership as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively support 5S initiatives
- Participate in rotational overtime, including weekdays and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2‑year technical degree in Tool & Die (preferred) or 2+ years of related industrial manufacturing experience
- Journeyman certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience building and/or maintaining stamping dies
- Proven die troubleshooting and maintenance expertise
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and die designs
- Experience with surface grinding, manual machining, and CNC equipment
- CAD/CAM or Solid Works experience
- CNC programming and Machining Center setup/operation experience
- CNC EDM setup and operation experience
- Experience as a machinist or die maker’s apprentice
