Through our national system and training, The Rosary Team builds prayer teams and tracks outreach bringing the gift of prayer to those formerly in our pews. This coordination allows the Catholic community to minister to nursing homes as a unified mission, ensuring these residents are being cared for and to reveal where more help is needed.

Position Summary

The Rosary Team Leader serves as The Rosary Team’s primary point of contact for both outside organizations (e.g., senior care facilities and parishes) and our network of volunteers. This role focuses on building relationships, coordinating volunteer‑led Rosary prayer gatherings, and fostering growth in both participation and outreach.

The Rosary Team equips Leaders with training, ongoing leadership support, and a custom software platform that manages all facility, parish, and volunteer data.

. Training and guidance will be provided to raise your own financial support and to launch Rosary Teams in your local area.

Key Responsibilities Volunteer Coordination & Engagement
  • Coordinate and schedule volunteers to lead and pray the Rosary in group settings at senior care facilities.
  • Motivate, inspire, and retain volunteers through encouragement, relationship building, and consistent communication.
  • Orient and train new volunteers, ensuring they understand the mission, values, and procedures of The Rosary Team.
  • Organize small group gatherings near your location to foster community among volunteers.
Parish & Community Outreach
  • Contact parishes to recruit volunteers by submitting bulletin announcements, Flocknote messages, and other communication channels.
  • Provide regular updates to parishes about the work and needs of The Rosary Team in their community.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with care facility staff and parish leaders.
Communications & Administration
  • Write professional, mission‑aligned emails, texts, and announcements that reflect the values of The Rosary Team.
  • Respond promptly and graciously to questions, concerns, and problem‑solving needs from volunteers or partners.
  • Manage communication through email, text, and phone, ensuring timely follow‑up.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the mission.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, with a devotion to the Rosary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people of various backgrounds.
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing, and messaging tools). Experience with relational database or a spreadsheet‑database hybrid platform is a plus.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple communication channels.
  • Willingness to work primarily from home, with occasional in‑person visits for orientations and gatherings.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with organizational goals and processes.
