Shift: Monday – Thursday 12:00 pm – 10:30 pm MT
Revvity seeks an Associate Scientist for our Synthetic Manufacturing laboratory in Lafayette, CO. The role will perform primary tasks in an ISO 9001:2015 laboratory, manufacturing, processing, and packaging RNA and DNA oligonucleotides. Responsibilities include quality and quantity determination, inventory control, and order packaging while learning and troubleshooting manufacturing chemistry.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture oligonucleotides while adhering to established SOPs.
- Utilize MES to manage data related to customer orders and inventory.
- Operate liquid handling robotics and automated sample management equipment.
- Conduct quality control testing to ensure order quantity specs using spectrophotometry.
- Accurately and efficiently complete final packaging of customer samples, maintain stocks of catalog product, and create larger library collections.
- Prioritize workload to meet customer needs and new product launches.
- Accurately and effectively complete basic equipment tasks including reagent filling, liquid‑handling robot setup, operation, cleanup, and handling of customer samples for final packaging.
- Cross‑train to ensure the capability to complete the primary tasks in each manufacturing laboratory, including oligonucleotide synthesis, quality control, and post‑synthetic process.
- Process and purify customer samples using HPLC and gel electrophoresis.
- Conduct quality control testing using HPLC, LCMS and UV‑VIS spectroscopy.
- Collect requested data and communicate to the Manager.
- Ensure process compliance by regularly monitoring, reviewing, and updating SOPs and documentation as needed.
- Maintain proper lab maintenance per SOPs and 5S standards.
- Comply with all EH&S regulations and policies.
- Fulfill other trainings, tasks and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Life or Natural Sciences.
- 0–3 years of laboratory experience.
- Familiarity with laboratory standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to learn, troubleshoot, and operate specialized laboratory equipment, computers, and instrumentation software.
- Advanced analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, with proficient data entry and typing skills.
- Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal; teamwork is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for teamwork.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to regularly move items weighing 30–60 pounds, with or without accommodation.
The base salary range for this full‑time position is $55,000 – $62,000. The exact offer will depend on internal equity, location, and relevant experience. Base pay is one component of a total compensation package that includes bonuses, equity, and benefits.
