This entry-level specialist position supports failure analysis for an Endoscopy portfolio. The role involves receiving, documenting, and evaluating failed medical devices—many of which are contaminated—in a biohazard lab environment. A strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and technical writing skills are crucial to ensure accurate documentation of results and adherence to quality standards. This is a fully onsite, full-time position that requires comfort with performing repetitive tasks while maintaining strict process discipline.
Responsibilities- Receive and document failed medical devices, ensuring an accurate chain-of-custody.
- Evaluate contaminated devices safely and perform precise failure analysis.
- Document analysis results clearly and accurately in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Verify procedures, seek clarification, and complete routine lab tasks in a high-volume, standardized workflow.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Ability to follow structured QA and lab processes.
- Comfort working with contaminated medical devices in a biohazard environment.
- Strong communication skills for confirming, clarifying, and documenting findings.
- Willingness to ask questions and complete repetitive tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (or foreign equivalent meeting relevant requirements).
- Open to recent graduates with zero years of experience.
The position is 100% onsite, requiring 40 hours per week in a biohazard lab environment. Full training and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided. The role operates within a structured, process-driven workflow and involves collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, CO.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
