Fuel Pricing and Supply Manager (Lafayette, CA)

LHH is teaming up with a fuel services organization in Lafayette, CA in search of a Fuel Pricing and Supply Manager to support daily pricing operations, supplier coordination, and oversight of fuel dispatching activities.

The ideal candidate has experience overseeing dispatch or supply functions, excels in vendor communication, and enjoys working with both data and people. They are highly organized, comfortable managing time‑sensitive priorities, and confident making decisions that impact pricing, carrier coordination, and customer satisfaction. Individuals with supervisory experience and a steady, solutions‑focused approach will be particularly successful.

• Supervise fuel dispatchers and coordinate workload distribution.
• Collect and evaluate branded and unbranded fuel pricing.
• Identify the best daily purchasing opportunities.
• Communicate pull points to carriers and dispatch teams.
• Compile and distribute unbranded customer pricing each day.
• Interface with fuel suppliers regarding outages, allocations, and supply updates.
• Partner with sales teams on delivery pricing for prospective customers.
• Manage contract compliance on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
• Serve as primary point of contact for carrier communication via phone, text, and email.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fuel suppliers and carriers.
• Monitor carrier shipments to ensure on‑time delivery and full order fulfillment.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate handoff of responsibilities to alternate dispatchers during scheduled days off.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in the trucking or heavy‑hauling industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet multiple, time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite required.
• Scheduling experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Direct Hire (Full‑Time)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Fully on‑site in Lafayette, CA

Pay Rate: $85,000–$105,000/year, depending on experience
