Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a FORKLFIT OPERATOR in Ladson
.

The FORKLFIT OPERATOR is responsible for:

• Operate a tugger, reach‑lift, pallet jack and forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse racks.
• Package and label items for shipment.
• Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse.
• Unloads, palletizes, picks, and loads loose cartons.
• Provides daily preventative maintenance checks of equipment as required.
• Escalates equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator.
• Unloads/Loads freight in a safe and effective manner.
• Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, pull, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OPERATING EQUIPMENT
• Safely navigate within a high volume distribution center
• Skills and Abilities:
  
  Attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift cartons of product, of up to 50 lbs.
