- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and/or emergency response activities.
- Maintain an armed post in accordance with licensing, training, and post orders while using professional communication and sound judgment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries to approved locations per site procedures.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting medical, fire, and/or facility response teams as directed by post orders.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and maintain required logs and documentation.
- Perform vehicle and/or pedestrian screening as assigned, including inspecting packages or cargo areas when authorized by site policy.
- Provide escorts for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or contractors within restricted or controlled areas when required.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, client representatives, and local public responders as needed while following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific procedures.
- Have 1 years’ armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have 1 years of security experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
