We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Coordinator/Assistant Project Manager for HVAC Projects to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a significant impact in a well‑established and growing company. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of HVAC projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Track project performance and make necessary corrections to ensure successful completion.
  • Ensure that all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Conduct project post‑mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction project management, particularly in HVAC projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC, piping, or plumbing projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully coordinating HVAC projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
