Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to be on our transportation team! Working as a Full-time Driver (DOT - CDL), you will be representing our fleet as you deliver from Fastenal Distribution Centers to branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe and well-maintained tractor trailer or straight truck that is no more than four years old.

Delivery trucks are pre-loaded, in order of delivery, by warehouse employees prior to departure and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops. The majority of driving will be done at night, with most schedule departure times between 10-11pm, which means you'll be home each day. We offer established routes that may see periodic change based on needs of the company.

• Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner

• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
• Possess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one
• Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift up to 60lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check

• Prior driving work experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift

The base pay range for this position is $71,000 - 95,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
