RN - Care Manager

Overview

The Care Manager RN utilizes in-depth knowledge of physical assessment and management of illnesses or conditions within the registered nurse's scope of practice. This includes collaboration with other licensed health professionals such as physicians, pharmacists, and other nurses. The Care Manager RN will work directly with physicians on issues related to care plans. In collaboration with the medical staff and Oncology Administration, this position provides patient and family education, psychological support, social support and survivorship care planning throughout the continuum of care and services and beyond.

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and other licensed health professionals to develop and manage care plans in the RN scope of practice.
• Provide patient and family education, psychological support, social support and survivorship care planning in collaboration with medical staff and Oncology Administration.

• Completion of a recognized program to obtain an RN license in the State of Washington.
• Washington Registered Nurse License required at hire.

• 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing.

The wage range for this position is listed as $49.34 - $76.59 base pay. Additional compensation may be available (e.g., shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, incentives, or bonuses).
