ROLE:
Facilitators work with students and volunteers, guiding homework help, academic and enrichment activities, physical fitness activities and games, leadership training, snack, and other activities as directed by the Site Coordinator. Facilitators participate in preparation and training with the commitment to learn and follow strategies as defined in the national Youth Program Quality Initiative (YPQI).

17 hours during the school year; up to 30 hours during the 6-week summer program.

Work Schedule:
Schedule will vary based on program needs during the academic year and summer program. Training may be scheduled prior to the start of the school year and during school breaks as needed. Evening, weekend, and occasional out-of-town travel may be required based on program and organizational needs.
COMPENSATION
Candidates hired for this position can expect a wage of $22.05 – $23.05 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Total annual salary range for this position is $45,868.78 – $54,438.38, as applicable.
Eligible for paid leave and IRA retirement plan in accordance with organizational policy.
WORK LOCATION
The Club House program operates at multiple sites within the North Thurston School District. Primary work locations may include Chinook Middle School, Lydia Hawk Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, and other designated program sites.
Staff may be assigned to a primary location but may also be required to support other program sites as needed. Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations, including the TOGETHER! office, is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree and/or training in child development.
Professional Experience
At least two years of volunteer and/or professional experience working with young people.
Licensure & Certifications
Current First Aid and/or CPR certification, to be completed within 90 days of hire.
Valid Driver’s License
