Job Description & How to Apply Below
At the heart of that mission is a ministry of education in the liberal arts, forming students to grow as whole persons, pursue wisdom, and contribute to the common good. We seek colleagues who wish to join this mission in partnership with the monks of Saint Martin's Abbey: educating with care, accompanying students on their journey, and working together for personal and communal transformation.
For a deeper understanding of Saint Martin's University, review the "Who We Are" information on our career home page.
The nursing program at Saint Martin's is growing. We have a traditional BSN, an RN to BSN and adding an LPN to BSN program in Fall 2021. The Nursing Department maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions. We need faculty in all nursing disciplines and teaching assignments may include clinical, lab and simulation or classroom teaching.
Evening and weekend, as well as traditional weekday teaching are available. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year, applications are accepted continuously for teaching in our nursing program. Positions may become available at any time. The rate of compensation is $1000 per student credit hour.
Position Responsibilities:
Excellence in teaching is at the core of Saint Martin's University. We expect you to be an excellent teacher; to be current in the nursing discipline; to engage students actively in their own learning, and to set high standards regarding course content.
