What You’ll Do

As our Member Services Representative
, you will provide basic financial services to members including teller, loan services, and business development. Your primary responsibility will be working towards and assisting in the positive image and growth of the credit union by providing world class member service as defined by net promoter scores.

• Pay Range:
  MSR I is $19.35 to $29.03 per hour and the range for an MSR II is $22.12 to $33.18 per hour, plus the ability to earn up to $500 per month in commission. The range is dependent on the level of position and prior experience.

• Drive best level member service by engaging in conversations with our members and developing relationships with them.
• Answer and ask financially driven questions to support the growth of our member’s financial wellbeing.
• Knowledgeable in O Bee products and services.
• Identify the needs of members from general interactions.
• Process pay and receive transactions to include checking and savings, transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, line of credit advances, and wires.
• Support members’ requests regarding account balances, transaction history, credits and debits and escalations.
• Resolve concerns and/or put them in direct contact with the appropriate staff member for specific information and assistance.
• Follow BSA and all Credit Union operational procedures. Completes required Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and notifies Senior Management of any suspicious activities; providing information needed complete Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).

This position is open for either a Member Service Representative I or a Member Service Representative II. Level selection will be based on experience.

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of basic computer software products.
