Position: Sales Operations Internship HW - Summer 2026

Overview

2026 Summer College Internship Program for Sales Operations - Harbor Wholesale

The sales Operations Intern will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our growing sales organization. This internship focuses on designing, organizing, and launching a comprehensive sales new hire training program that equips incoming sales team members with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to excel. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual who can work across departments and interpret and develop team needs and execute cohesive plans.

Harbor Internships are onsite positions in Lacey, WA for students with existing residence in the south Puget Sound region, WA

Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, supply chain or a directly related field.
  • Strength in all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel at the intermediate level and email strategies with outstanding and polished communication across multiple departments, vendors, and customers.
  • Experience in a sales and/or marketing support position preferred in a high-volume customer environment; CPG or related food industry will be preferred.

Compensation: $20/hour

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with sales leadership, Director of Sales Operations, and other internal departments to gather content for sales new hire training and validate accuracy.
  • Interview top-performing sales reps to capture tribal knowledge and best practices.
  • Map out the full new hire learning journey, from day one onboarding to ramp up milestones.
  • Create training materials such as slide decks, playbooks, checklists, and process documentation.
  • Develop modules covering sales processes, product knowledge, prospecting, and internal tools.
  • Organize content into a structured curriculum.
  • Coordinate with team leads to schedule training sessions and gather feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales Operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings and interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strength in all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Email strategies.
  • Interest in sales, sales operations, enablement or learning and development.
