The Iron Ore Company of Canada is seeking applications from post‑secondary students for the Student Employment Program 2026 in Labrador City
. We are seeking applications for students to work in our mine, plant & railway facilities.

• Students must have been a full‑time student at a post‑secondary institution in the past two semesters and be returning to a full‑time program at a post‑secondary educational institution.
• Students must be available to work the entire summer period from the selected start date until August 25, 2026.
• Students that are being considered for safety sensitive roles must successfully complete the substance abuse testing as well as fitness testing requirements for summer employment.

• Interested students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Labrador City as well as their own accommodations.
• Students must indicate which position they wish to be considered for.

All students are invited to complete their application via Workday. Applications must be submitted no later than March 6, 2026

Please apply via Workday. With your application you must attach a copy of your resume, of your Driver’s License (front and back), and verification that you were a full‑time student in the previous two semesters, Fall 2025 and the current Winter 2026, by March 6, 2025

Applicants failing to provide verification of full‑time student status in the previous two semesters will not be eligible for summer employment.

The Microsoft application form will cover questions regarding your summer student employment application, student verification questions, student declaration, and student declaration of clean criminal history 2026 Summer Student Form.
• In addition, a Student Verification Form must be completed and returned to IOC. The purpose of this form is to confirm that the student is returning to full‑time studies in the following Fall 2026 semester.
