This role is a key leadership position with influence across the business, responsible for shaping how MCL attracts, hires, and grows talent at every level.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead a High-Impact Talent Acquisition Team
    • Coach and develop a high-performing recruitment team
    • Foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable team culture
    • Set clear expectations, priorities, and measures of success
  • Drive Strategic Talent Acquisition
    • Design and execute a forward-looking TA strategy for all positions aligned to business goals, but most importantly to our company values
    • Anticipate talent needs and build proactive pipelines for critical roles
    • Balance immediate hiring demands with long-term workforce planning
  • Partner with Leaders Across the Business
    • Serve as a trusted, thoughtful advisor to hiring managers and executives
    • Guide leaders through effective hiring decisions with confidence and care
    • Implement clear hiring expectations, timelines, and decision frameworks
  • Elevate The Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience
    • Create a welcoming, transparent, and human-centered candidate experience
    • Ensure hiring managers are equipped, engaged, and accountable
    • Champion fair, consistent, and values-aligned hiring practices
  • Continuously Improve Processes & Tools
    • Evaluate and enhance recruiting workflows, interviews, and systems
    • Own ATS effectiveness and adoption across the organization
    • Introduce improvements that increase quality, speed, and consistency
    • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Be a Culture & Brand Ambassador
    • Represent the organization authentically to candidates and partners
    • Partner with leaders and Marketing to strengthen employer branding
    • Model professionalism, warmth, and integrity in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition or HR experience, including full cycle recruiting
  • 3+ years building and leading a strong team
  • Experience improving recruiting processes, systems, and outcomes
  • Experience in the construction industry, a plus
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels
  • A thoughtful, personable leadership style that builds trust quickly
  • Comfort using data to guide decisions and conversations
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
