White Blood Cell Student Assistant; Summer

Overview of Position

Streck is recruiting a White Blood Cell Assistant to join our White Blood Cell Team this summer. This position will work in our labs helping to aspirate, dilute, and add chemicals in the process of getting our final products ready. As well as helping to maintain a clean work environment.

• Process cellular components and materials according to standard operating procedures
• Complete all appropriate documentation
• Help to maintain a clean laboratory and workspace

• Enrolled in high school or collegiate level experience
• Must be dependable, well organized, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
• Proven solid work history.
• Must display the ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Prior laboratory experience helpful.
• Strong computer skills (Word and Excel)
• Strong attention to detail

8-hour days - Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

• Casual - jeans and t-shirt
• Dedicated Shoes

• Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Standing 8 hours/day
