Windows Systems Engineer – Financial Services
Location: La Vista, NE – 12325 Port Grace Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128. Osaic is not considering remote candidates and requires a minimum of four days per week in the office.
Role Type: Full time
Salary: $70,000‑$85,000 per year + annual performance‑based bonus. Compensation is determined individually based on location, skills, experience, and education.

SummaryWe are looking for a driven and motivated individual to join our Infrastructure Systems team. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers, monitoring system performance, improving platform maintenance, and addressing vulnerability remediation. You will also collaborate with application development teams on system design and code deployments, resolve server/storage issues, and provide security analysis implementations.
Responsibilities- Proactively monitor Windows system performance and availability, including disk space, processor time, and memory utilization, and ensure file systems are cleaned when full.
- Ensure that all supported systems are highly reliable, secure, and performing at acceptable levels.
- Deploy Windows servers (2022/2025) according to industry standards.
- Configure roles and features such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Apply CIS benchmarks or similar standards.
- Implement and develop new tools and procedures to make platform maintenance more effective and efficient, and identify processes for automation.
- Perform root‑cause analysis of complex issues across hardware, OS, application, network, and security platforms, working closely with infrastructure teams and business users to implement long‑term solutions.
- Communicate with vendors and other groups to determine project, technology, and business needs.
- Update and maintain system documentation and local procedures.
- Support software vendors to ensure application software is installed correctly and all current maintenance levels are applied.
- Implement and maintain monitoring infrastructure to provide relevant statistics to management on performance and utilization of the production environment.
- Perform various projects and tasks assigned by the manager.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree; high school diploma (or equivalent) with significant practical experience may be considered. - Required:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. - Microsoft Certifications for Windows Server and Active Directory are highly desirable.
- 3 years’ experience in Windows Active Directory environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2022 & 2025 administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 2022 & 2025 Active Directory architecture and design.
- Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Active Directory cross‑forest migrations.
- Advanced knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server and Windows networking.
- Experience in all phases of Active Directory design and engineering.
- Experience with software engineering tools and systems platform management technologies.
- Experience with a VMware server environment and resource management.
- Ability to engage with internal customers without direction.
- Ability to independently plan, execute, and deliver complex projects from initiation through completion with minimal supervision.
