Salary Range: $29.06 To $33.42 Hourly
Do you love organizing and researching information along with educating and assisting people? The La Vista Public Library is seeking a detail-oriented and community-minded Librarian I (Cataloging/Technical Services) to join our team! This full-time position is a unique blend of behind-the-scenes technical expertise and front-line public service. Qualifications and Skills Needed:- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field is required (Master's degree is preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in a library setting is required
- Cataloging experience is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with ability to build a rapport with staff and patrons
- Proficient in library methods, research materials, and the use of computers/office technology
