Overview
The Desktop Support Specialist will provide hands‑on technical support for end users in a large enterprise environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, device configuration, deployment tasks, and delivering high‑quality customer service while following established processes and ticketing workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and manage support requests in the company’s ticketing system (Service Now) in accordance with SLA and workflow standards.
- Provide helpdesk and desktop support, including troubleshooting and configuring hardware, software, and user workstations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to end users, including support with Active Directory tasks such as password resets and account troubleshooting.
- Set up and configure computers for new hires, including imaging and deployment of Windows 10 devices.
- Perform asset management duties, including collecting, tracking, and decommissioning hardware.
- Set up new workstations and ensure all required equipment and configurations are in place.
- Support configuration for manufacturing‑related applications as required.
- Troubleshoot issues such as blue screens, performance problems, peripheral failures, and general maintenance needs.
- Apply lean support processes to improve operational efficiency and streamline technical workflows.
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment using Service Now or a similar ticketing system.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware, software, and Windows 10 environments.
- Hands‑on experience with imaging, deployment, and device configuration.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory support.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with hardware replacement and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with deployment tools and enterprise imaging processes.
- Background in supporting manufacturing environments.
Contract position based out of La Verne, CA. Fully onsite.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $30.00/hr.
