Job Description SummaryWe invite applications for a 50% non-tenure‑track faculty position in the Leadership Programs beginning Fall 2026. The position carries a two‑course annual teaching load (one course per semester) and includes overseeing the Dissertation in Practice (DiP) process for doctoral students. The faculty member will work closely with students, dissertation committee members, and faculty chairs to support continuous improvement of the dissertation process.
Minimum Qualifications- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) with an emphasis in leadership, educational leadership, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Experience teaching graduate/postgraduate leadership courses.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or supervising doctoral research or dissertations, preferably in applied or practice‑based programs.
- Knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, or mixed‑method research approaches applicable to the Dissertation in Practice.
- Proficiency with online and hybrid instructional technologies and adult learning strategies.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse adult learners and faculty teams.
- Evidence of commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice in leadership education.
- Experience overseeing dissertations or capstone projects in doctoral leadership programs.
- Experience teaching or leading in PK‑12, higher education, or community organizations.
- Knowledge of dissertation management platforms or systems that support applied research.
- Record of scholarship or professional presentations in leadership, organizational change, or equity‑focused education.
