Job Description Summary

Students will strive to educate the university community on the importance of private support and keep alumni, parents and friends connected to the University of La Verne via telephone conversations. Students will assist in securing philanthropic funds for the University of La Verne to enhance the quality of education for students. Students will be expected to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, insightful knowledge of the institution, an ability to accept direction, and a strong desire to achieve goals.

They will also adhere to the code of confidentiality as determined by the university and the University Advancement Department.

Minimum Qualifications

Students will be expected to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, insightful knowledge of the University, an ability to accept direction and a strong desire to achieve goals. Strong calling skills and available to work a minimum of three (3) shifts per week. Must be a current University of La Verne student

Work Schedule

Available

Shifts:

Sunday 1 (12:30-4:00pm), Sunday 2 (5:30-8:30pm), Monday (5:30-8:30pm), Tuesday (5:30-8:30pm), Wednesday (5:30-8:30pm), Thursday (5:30-8:30pm). Callers must work a minimum of 3 shifts per week. Calling will take place late March through mid May with the opportunity to reapply for employment in the fall. This position will work 100% on campus and not remotely.
