Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
Overview
The Operator II, Production Operations is an entry level position at the facility responsible for the manual operational tasks within the production facility. The job is responsible for escalating major production issues and resolving minor issues as applicable. This job performs work under close supervision by the Supervisor, Manufacturing Management.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am (overtime per business needs, can require Fridays and Saturdays).
- Participates in packaging for finished products prior to shipment.
- Loads machines with raw materials prior to production along with transporting materials from machine to machine as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic issues on machines to stay on production schedule.
- Creates and modifies labels or stickers applied to products or packaging.
- 1-2 years of experience, preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works under moderate degree of supervision
- Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
- Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
