Network Engineer II – La Vergne / Nashville, TN (100% Onsite)

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer II to support and scale an enterprise campus network with a strong focus on Cisco wireless
, core switching
, and high performance test environments
. This role partners closely with Security
, Engineering
, and R&D teams in a fast paced, onsite manufacturing environment.

• Design, configure, and support LAN, WLAN, and high performance network environments.
• Deploy and manage Cisco Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers and Cisco 9120 / 9160 access points.
• Configure and maintain core switching, VLAN segmentation, port channeling, and routing protocols.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across corporate and testing networks operating at 100G–400G.
• Support Cisco ISE implementation including authentication, segmentation, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with Security on ISO 27001 initiatives and network hardening.
• Configure and maintain Forti Gate firewalls and related security appliances.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and integrity across multi building environments.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and topology diagrams.
• Provide escalation support and participate in root cause analysis.
• Recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• 5+ years as a Network Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Hands on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 controllers.
• Experience supporting Cisco 9120 / 9160 access points.
• Strong Layer 2 / Layer 3, VLAN, port channel, and routing fundamentals.
• Experience with large scale campus networks across multiple facilities.
• Advanced troubleshooting in high uptime environments.
• Cross functional experience with security teams and compliance efforts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high growth setting.

• Experience with Cisco ISE deployment or support.
• Experience with Forti Gate firewalls or other enterprise firewalls.
• Exposure to high performance computing, 100G+ bandwidth, or test environments.
• Storage networking or virtualization experience.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; or equivalent hands on experience.
• 5+ years progressive experience in enterprise network engineering.
