Site Safety Manager Day Shift

Site Safety Manager - Full-Time Day Shift(Cape Canaveral, FL)

Pay: $36-$40/hour (with overtime potential)

Smart Safety Gulf Coast is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support one of our clients on a large-scale construction project in Cape Canaveral, FL. This is a full‑time, onsite position where you will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance, and foster a strong safety culture on behalf of both Smart Safety Gulf Coast and the client.

As a Site Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and enforcing safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and client requirements. You will maintain accurate safety documentation, conduct orientations, and lead safety meetings and training sessions. Fall protection knowledge is essential, as this project requires work at elevated heights. You’ll collaborate closely with client project managers to integrate safety measures into construction practices while representing Smart Safety Gulf Coast professionally.

• Fall protection knowledge and training (required).
• OSHA 30 Construction certification (required).
• CPR/First Aid certification (required).
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations, local safety laws, and regulatory agencies.
• Recent experience serving as the dedicated safety resource at a job site.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and implement solutions.
• Comfortable climbing a large amount of steps, standing/walking for extended periods, and working at heights.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequent communication with coworkers, supervisors, and client staff. Regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling tools or equipment. Climbing to high levels, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
