** La Quinta, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access control activity, and resident questions with professional customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access rules, and security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential streets, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.

+ Monitor for and respond to incidents, alarms, disputes, and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.

+ Control vehicle and pedestrian access as assigned by checking credentials, issuing visitor information, directing traffic flow, and/or coordinating with property management.

+ Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and assist responding public services as needed.

* + Customer Service Experience is preferred.

+ Guard Card/License is preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.

+ Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
