Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required
• Highlight current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and guide guests on enrollment and use
• Handle returns following policies, consulting with leaders as needed to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by removing unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders and returns, while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times

• Effective communication with positive language and attentiveness to guest needs

• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Ability to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology and communicate on multiple devices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including Drive-Up and carryout duties
