• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, loyalty offers) according to company policy.
• Adhere to company limits on cash shortages/overages and control loss effectively.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Follow all food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a welcoming environment, assisting customers with product questions.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, seniors, and individuals with special needs.

• Customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Experience in customer service or as a Bagger/Courtesy Clerk.
