Pay Range: $21-$27 /hour for clinical work* (based on experience)

As a Behavior Technician, you will support ACES’ clients by helping them improve communication, problem-solving, and social skills with empathy and compassion.

What You’ll Do As a Behavior Technician

• Work one-on-one with children with autism in our centers or at home.
• Reinforce positive behaviors using therapeutic techniques learned through our industry-leading training.
• Track client progress with electronic health data on a company-provided iPad.

Qualifications

We’re looking for individuals with patience, empathy, good judgment, and effective communication skills. Experience as a camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, or childcare volunteer is welcomed. All applicants are encouraged to apply.

• A passion for helping children and families impacted by autism.
• Enrolled in or completed at least one college course (Trade/Tech School applicable).
• Comfort with tablet technology and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation for commuting.
• Flexible schedule to meet client needs.

* Pay scale for non-clinical work (training, meetings, travel) is $16.50-$17.81/hour.
