Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to safety, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner, reporting safety concerns immediately to supervisors.

+ Start up and shut down equipment according to operational requirements, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.

+ Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks to support continuous improvement.

+ Diagnose and repair equipment, determining necessary materials, parts, and tools for repairs and rebuilds.

+ Inspect machinery for defects, misalignment, and wear; determine best repair processes with minimal production interruption.

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks.

+ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

+ Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

+ Ability to disassemble, move, and install equipment.

+ Experience maintaining work logs and updating maintenance records, including electronic CMMS systems.
