Support MCA-SNL’s EVOH business success by identifying and implementing engineering standards for the technical aspects of mechanical maintenance work. Provide support to manufacturing units by identifying, engineering, and implementing mechanical solutions or improvements to equipment.

• Project Management – Support overall mechanical systems and manage change, work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Provide second‑level troubleshooting.
• Engineering Support – Act as Mechanical Resource with Engineering for site capital projects to ensure that policies, procedures, standards, and specifications are met.
• Technical Support – Draft and submit Concept Papers and sanction documentation for capital projects, mark and approve drawings, execute Management of Change, and provide checkout/start‑up support.
• SHE Department Support – Participate in safety audits, investigations, stay updated on safety manual changes, participate in Process Hazard Analysis/Reviews.
• Administrative – Create and maintain documentation, files, procedures, and drawings for site equipment.
• Decision Making – Engage networks to leverage learning, develop understanding of chemical processes for maintenance troubleshooting, ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Supervision – Extensive oversight of contract project workers.
• Accuracy, Accountability – Ensure mechanical aspects meet design criteria, internal and external standards.
• Internal and External Contacts – Exhibit discretion in communication; handle external matters to protect company image.

The job holder leads M&R improvements to sustain reliability at the lowest asset lifecycle costs, partnering with Operations for proactive asset management. Flexibility is expected; cooperate and assist in cross‑training and job experience.
