Salary: $63,000 per year (beginning teacher); $1,000 Master's addenda; $1,000 Doctorate addenda

Pay Grade: Certified Instructional, 10 Duty Months

Other Information: The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee‑only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state‑required amount of $225/month.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate in the subject area assigned
• ESL Certification preferred
• Alternative Certification Program applicants must have passed content exam(s) and hold a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) to be eligible for employment

• Specific knowledge of subject assigned
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
