mistras group, inc. Is looking for dedicated timekeepers willing to travel to work a turnaround in el paso, tx to start the end of march for approximately 1 month.
position summarythe timekeeper ensures all timesheets are accurate and complete so that billing and payroll are processed correctly. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in time tracking and reporting.
responsibilities- able to work 7x12 schedule
- collect and verify employee timesheets daily
- cross-check hours against gate logs
- confirm accuracy of codes, po#’s, and wo#’s
- ensure per diem, equipment, and materials are properly allocated for billing
- prepare and process exception forms and ec’s for approval
- email timesheets with gate logs daily
- communicate time changes with employees promptly
- enter time, equipment, materials, and per diem into onsite system and mistras accounting system
- follow procedures to obtain time approval in onsite system
- generate and send final reports for invoicing once authorized
- address invoicing concerns or discrepancies
- process schedule change and badge forms as needed
- assist employees with payroll questions
- process payroll by monday 2pm weekly
- distribute audited payroll weekly to employees for review and corrections
- perform other duties as assigned
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- refinery experience preferred
- track experience preferred
- must be willing to travel to site location
- valid twic card
