Overview
Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing, executing, and reconciling the incoming and outgoing transactions of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Provide support for the sales order process. Maintain priorities for orders, communicate special requests to shippers, coordinate with supervisor to get complete orders shipped, process truck shipments with logistics company for shipment, troubleshoot any issues, and transfer completed paperwork back to customer service for storage.
- Create manufacturing orders for assembly and outsourcing, distribute orders, monitor shortages, complete “QC” operation, review and document statistics of all orders, and close orders
- Maintain transfer orders in and out of the SMP warehouse.
- Post all receipts of incoming goods and services on purchase orders and manufacturing orders.
- Create, distribute, reconcile, and post cycle counts for all facilities except Nephi, UT.
- Research and correct any inventory discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be familiar with, and follow, all standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of how and where to locate procedures and forms relevant to this position.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with coursework in purchasing and/or inventory control management, preferred.
- At least five years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Completion of company indoctrination.
- Successful completion of safety training programs.
- Understanding of the company’s Quality System and processes.
