We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in LaPorte, Indiana. This is a fully onsite position offering a hands-on role in daily accounting operations, month-end activities, and accounts receivable leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger management.

• Manage daily accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

• Lead the Accounts Receivable function, overseeing invoicing, collections, and aging reports.

• Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.

• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

• Review financial data for accuracy and assist in preparing internal management reports.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

• Support audits and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting efficiency and internal controls.

• Minimum associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (bachelor’s preferred).

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.

• Strong understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and financial statements.

• Proven experience managing or leading accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
