Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a Maryland RN license with strong critical care skills and ACLS certification.

Job Details

• Hospital ICU setting with a 10-bed unit,

• Critically ill patient population including DKA, COPD, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac arrest, hypertensive emergency, ischemic stroke, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal, acute renal failure, and more,

• Patient ratio of 1:2,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• Holidays required as they fall per schedule,

• Floating required within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed,

• No on-call requirements,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland (MD) state RN license or compact license currently in hand,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,

• Strong critical care skills required,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with strong ICU experience will be considered,

• Self-scheduling is utilized on this unit,

• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
