American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a Maryland RN license with strong critical care skills and ACLS certification.

• Hospital ICU setting with a 10-bed unit
• Critically ill patient population including DKA, COPD, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac arrest, hypertensive emergency, ischemic stroke, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal, acute renal failure, and more
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as they fall per schedule
• Floating required within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

• Active Maryland (MD) state RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Strong critical care skills required

• First-time travelers with strong ICU experience will be considered
• Self-scheduling is utilized on this unit
• Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
