Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity care in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit. The RN will care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilator support, and complex medication management. Candidates must have strong ICU skills and be comfortable managing unstable patients and participating in emergency response situations.Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
  • First-time travelers accepted with strong ICU background
  • Active Maryland RN License or Compact License
  • BLS – AHA Required
  • ACLS – AHA Required
  • NIHSS Certification Required
  • CPI Certification Required
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred

  • Acute renal failure
  • Pancreatitis
  • Small / Large bowel obstruction
  • Atrial fibrillation with RVR

  • Diverticulitis with or without perforation
Required Clinical Skills
  • Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Ventilator management and ventilated patient care
  • Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
  • BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula management
  • Central line care and arterial line management
  • PICC line management
  • Blood product administration
  • IV therapy and medication administration
  • Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
  • Continuous IV sedation and emergency medication administration
  • Chest tube management and assistance with insertion/removal
  • CRRT / Prismaflex management
  • Post-intubation care and airway suctioning
  • Isolation precautions and infection prevention
