RN - ICU

3x12 Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30);
Every other weekend and holiday required.

The ICU RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This position requires strong skills in various acute care conditions including but not limited to DKA, COPD, sepsis, and cardiac arrest. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage ventilated patients and assist with procedures as needed.
• Support families and communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Maintain patient records accurately, utilizing Epic charting systems.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU required.
• Current RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
