ED RN - Day Shift 3x12-Hour Contract Position Location

Maryland

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, including every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in emergency care, capable of handling a fast-paced environment with a wide array of patient diagnoses across all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics.

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct assessments and triage patients efficiently.
• Manage and apply appropriate splints, conduct intubation, and administer medications.
• Monitor and care for patients experiencing complex health conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care utilizing Epic charting system.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting; 2 years preferred.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4.
