Job Overview:
- University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department. The ideal candidate is comfortable caring for patients across all age groups and managing complex, varied diagnoses in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of ER experience (1 year considered with strong ER skills); first-time travelers accepted - Licensure & Certifications: Active Maryland RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Floating: Required within the specialty
- On-Call: No pre-scheduled on-call requirements
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Average Daily Census: 130
- Number of Beds: 47
- Patient Population: All age groups (infants through geriatric)
- Patient Diagnoses: Broad and complex; fast-paced Emergency Department environment.
