Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Per Diem)
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | Per Diem
Note: Weekly shifts are not guaranteed
Department: Emergency Room (ER)
Position Overview
The ER RN (Per Diem) delivers high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment. This role requires critical thinking, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to respond to a wide range of urgent and emergent patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients quickly upon arrival.
- Provide urgent care and stabilize patients in critical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC.
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to ensure efficient patient care and throughput.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and emergency care protocols.
- EMR: EPIC
- Active RN license - required.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience - required.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS - required and must be maintained.
