We are hiring a Sr Marketing Associate(Bilingual - Korean) in our La Palma, CA office who will play a key role in assisting the Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing programs. This individual works with cross-functional team members to identify objectives, key phases and product categories, performance metrics, develop ideas and plans and executes accordingly. They then lead working teams in delivering key information, metrics to assess the program and plans to support the program.
They understand key business priorities and processes to integrate across the business.
- Assists in the management of marketing programs as directed to develop objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve long-term growth and profit objectives.
- Manages promotional activities that may include print, electronic media, event marketing, campaigns, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays and signage.
- Manages technical components of activities/programs and understands the operational support required to execute.
- Manages program/campaign priorities by creating work plans with tasks, milestones, dependencies, deliverables and required resources. Provides overall project management as well as objective creative review.
- Leads and manages the Stage-Gate process through cross-functional communication and effective project management (Import & Local products)
- Assesses and escalates risks to program/campaign deliverables and sustainment in a timely manner to Marketing Managers, Director, Sponsor, etc.
- Provides day-to-day budget management support for the Marketing team (for example: coding invoices, creating reports to monitor spending against plan, gathering estimates, etc.)
- Leverages both quantitative and qualitative information such as consumer research, competitive intelligence, syndicated & secondary data and sales input to customize efforts and sustain our competitive advantage, build strong customer relations and develop annual brand/product plans.
- Integrates key business priorities and processes across the business unit.
- Measures program/campaign performance and effectiveness and is expected to digest, understand and share metrics with key stakeholders
- Represents the team on different projects working with cross-functional team members and internal/external vendors
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. - Years of Related
Experience:
Typically has a 3-5 years related experience - Must be bilingual in English & Korean
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Project Management, financial acumen/analysis, understanding of the marketing function, marketing tools and methods. Ability to communicate orally and in writing as well as work across the organization to utilize leverage and establish synergies. PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook products. Knowledge of company and group products, policies and processes along with analytical and communication skills required.
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
