Position Summary:
The range of the Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process and Specialty Heat Exchangers. The Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Reviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial items.
* Develops/reviews proposal estimates and schedules.
* Evaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standards.
* Ensures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documents.
* Modifies proposal in response to amendments, changes and management insight.
* Conforms contracts by negotiating final open items.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college is preferred.
* Engineering, Scheduling or Estimating experience.
* 3 years of Sales experience in Oil & Gas and/or Energy/ Power Industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
* Flexibility in schedule, initiative, willingness to learn, maintain effective and professional interaction with all levels.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize the deadlines.
* PMP Certification is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
