Compensation$73,221 - $117,203 is the full starting salary range (Pay Bi-Weekly)
* A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a fleet of trucks. Their main task is to ensure the fleet is well-maintained, meets legal requirements, and is operated efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs. They are responsible for managing and developing relationships with drivers to increase overall driver satisfaction and improve driver retention. They also work closely with drivers to coordinate deliveries and ensure they arrive at their destination on time.
Communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.
- Manage a staff of drivers to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability.
- Perform all aspects of dedicated customer service including, load booking and service failure resolution.
- Manage daily planning of equipment and drivers while ensuring high utilization.
- Act as liaison between the customer, drivers, and internal departments.
- Develop relationships with drivers to improve driver performance and encourage retention.
- Authorize pay related items.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Help create and manage customized Key Parameter Indicators (KPI) to help ensure goal attainment.
